AB 1032: Coverage for behavioral health visits.

This bill requires large group health care service plans and health insurance policies to reimburse eligible enrollees for up to 12 visits with a behavioral health provider if they experience a loss, trauma, or displacement due to wildfires in their county. The bill prohibits these benefits from being subject to utilization review and requires notice to be provided to affected enrollees. A willful violation of these provisions would be a crime and would result in a state-mandated local program. The bill takes effect immediately.
