A pilot program to operate a deferred entry of judgment program for eligible defendants in certain counties will be extended to January 1, 2029. The program will be evaluated and submitted to the public safety committees no later than December 31, 2027. The program's impact and effectiveness will be reviewed by the Office of Youth and Community Restoration, which will report its findings to the Board of State and Community Corrections.
