AB 1267: Marriage: prohibition on minors.
This bill would allow a single entity to operate multiple facilities or programs within a 1,000-foot radius, as long as they are in the same geographic location, where clients are generally colocated, intermingle, reside, or receive services in one building or multiple buildings. The bill would require a consolidated license and certification to meet the same minimum standards as separate licenses and certification for each facility and program. The department would need to promulgate regulations and charge a fee to implement this new system. The bill would take effect on January 1, 2027.
