AB 1395: Forestry: internal combustion engines: industrial operations: fire toolbox.

This bill would amend the law to require industrial operations near forests to provide a set of dedicated firefighting tools for employees. The tools would include a sufficient number of fire extinguishers, in addition to other specified items, to enable each employee to fight fires. These tools would be located within the operating area and accessible in the event of a fire. The law would also require a sealed box of tools to be located within the operating area and accessible, but the bill would replace this requirement with the new set of dedicated tools. The bill would also make nonsubstantive changes to these provisions.
