AB 1673: County fish and wildlife propagation fund: wildlife coexistence: tear gas.
The bill aims to expand the use of funds from a county fish and wildlife propagation fund. Currently, these funds are used for the protection, conservation, and preservation of fish and wildlife. The proposed amendment would allow additional expenditures from these funds for the following purposes: It would enable the use of funds to cover costs incurred by the county sheriff for investigating and enforcing fish and wildlife regulations, including issuing citations and making arrests. Additionally, the funds could be used to support wildlife coexistence programs that aim to prevent human-wildlife conflict.
