The bill aims to improve internet website accessibility for individuals with disabilities. It would allow entities to raise an affirmative defense if they can demonstrate that they provided evidence of a digital accessibility report and remediated the access barrier within a specified timeframe after receiving a written demand from the plaintiff. The bill also prohibits resource service providers from intentionally or negligently making an entity's website inaccessible, and would authorize small business entities and certain public attorneys to bring civil actions against those who engage in such practices.
