AB 2211: Craft distilled spirits manufacturers: licenses and fees.

The bill aims to regulate the activities of craft distilled spirits manufacturers in California. It would establish a fee of $755 for a duplicate license, in addition to the existing fee of $755 for a standard license. The bill would prohibit craft distillers from selling spirits to consumers or engaging in tasting activities at more than two licensed branch premises. Branch premises would be defined as locations away from the distiller's place of production and manufacturer, for which a duplicate license has been issued. This expansion would allow distillers to conduct tastings and sales at additional locations, subject to certain conditions. The bill would also require a new definition of "licensed premises" to include these branch locations.
