<p>The bill adds section 769.4 to the Public Utilities Code, requiring large electrical corporations to initiate permitting for projects within one year of adopting transmission plans or executing generator interconnection agreements. Corporations must file applications according to specific general orders and can request deadline extensions with good cause.
