AB 2670: Medi-Cal: fraud assessment task force.

<p>The bill proposes to establish a task force to assess fraud risks in the Medi-Cal program. The task force must convene by January 1, 2027, and review current fraud prevention tools, data-sharing gaps, and best practices from other states and the federal government. Within six months, the task force must submit recommendations to the legislature based on its assessment. The recommendations must be submitted by January 1, 2028.</p>
