AB 910: Criminal procedure: sentencing.

This bill aims to improve pharmacy benefit management by requiring a pharmacy benefit manager to secure a license from the department of managed health care. A complaint about a pharmacy benefit manager is considered a complaint against the contracting health care service plan or health insurer. The department of health care access and information will establish a health care payments data program to collect information on health care costs, utilization, quality, and equity. The program will include data on pricing and payments related to prescription drugs once specified regulations are completed. The department of managed health care will be required to take action if a pharmacy benefit manager fails to comply with specified requirements.
