AR 15: Relative to The Power of Us Day.
<p>This bill aims to recognize and celebrate the contributions of US citizens who served in the military. It would establish a new state holiday, known as US Day, to honor the service and sacrifices of these individuals. The holiday would be observed on a date determined by the Governor, and would be a day for reflection, remembrance, and appreciation for the men and women who have served in the US armed forces.</p> <p>The bill also seeks to promote patriotism and national unity, and to provide an opportunity for Californians to come together and show their gratitude to those who have served their country.
