<p>The bill amends existing laws to enhance employment opportunities for inmates upon release. It requires the joint advisory committee to facilitate admission of graduates from the California Conservation Camp Program into state-approved apprenticeships in the construction industry. Successful completion of the program would qualify individuals for these apprenticeships, and the department must issue certificates to ensure their eligibility.</p>
