SB 1183: Large-scale solar: Central Valley: study.

The bill requires the California Environmental Protection Agency to conduct a study on the impacts of large-scale solar energy on the Central Valley region by January 1, 2029. The study must analyze the effects on land use planning, the environment, and the economy, and provide recommendations to mitigate these impacts through changes to existing or new state, regional, and local policies. The study must also consult interested parties and make findings and declarations regarding the necessity of a special statute for the Central Valley region.
