SB 124: Public resources trailer bill.

This bill would authorize the state to enter into a noncompetitive grant with a nonprofit organization to plan, construct, and maintain a memorial to the victims and survivors of the Holocaust at Exposition Park. The grant would be used to review preliminary design plans, prepare an agreement for long-term maintenance and security, and establish the memorial. The bill would also make additional funds available from the Bay Fill Clean-up and Abatement Fund for enforcement activities, technology, and personnel to support those efforts. The bill would redefine "project tanks" for underground storage tanks and eliminate the authority to use grant funds to reimburse costs incurred to comply with the Enhanced Vapor Recovery Phase II regulations.
