SB 57: Electrical corporations: data centers: report.

The bill authorizes the public utilities commission to assess the impact of electrical corporation costs associated with new loads from data centers on other customers. The commission will determine if these costs result in cost shifts to other customers. The commission must submit its assessment to the relevant policy committees of the legislature and publicly post a copy on its website by January 1, 2027.
