What SB 846 does, verified December 13, 2025
This bill would amend the civil code to remove a condition that allows a lien to be imposed on harvested crops or farm products only if they are owned and grown or produced by a limited partnership. The lien can now be imposed on any person who harvests or transports these crops, regardless of who owns them.
