What A 1547 does, verified May 1, 2026

The proposed law aims to increase transparency for limited services pregnancy centers. Limited services pregnancy centers are facilities that provide services to pregnant women but do not offer comprehensive reproductive and sexual health care services. The law requires search engines and social media networks to include a consumer notice when listing or advertising these centers. The notice must clearly indicate that the center is a limited services pregnancy center and does not have licensed medical professionals onsite. This notice must be added to all limited services pregnancy center listings and advertisements on search engines and social media networks. The law takes effect immediately, aiming to provide more information to consumers about these types of centers.
