STATE OF NEW YORK ________________________________________________________________________ 2064 2025-2026 Regular Sessions IN ASSEMBLY January 15, 2025 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. SIMPSON, WOERNER -- read once and referred to the Committee on Higher Education AN ACT to authorize an expedited application review process for certain health care professionals licensed to practice in other jurisdictions to practice in this state in connection with Double H Ranch; and providing for the repeal of such provisions upon expiration thereof The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Notwithstanding any inconsistent provision of law, any 2 person who is licensed or certified to practice as a physician in anoth- 3 er state or territory, who is in good standing in such state or territo- 4 ry, and who has a written agreement to provide medical services with 5 Double H Ranch in the town of Lake Luzerne between June 5, 2025 and 6 August 15, 2025, shall receive expedited licensure review upon the 7 filing of an application pursuant to article one hundred thirty-one of 8 the education law. All application fees shall be waived for such indi- 9 viduals. 10 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall expire and be 11 deemed repealed one year after such date.
