What A 2067 does, verified January 30, 2026

The proposed amendment to the state constitution would require that all non-recurring revenue bills be passed by a two-thirds majority of both the Assembly and Senate. This means that any bill that provides recurring revenue, such as taxes, would require a simple majority to pass. The amendment would also require that all bills be printed and available to members on the desks for at least three calendar days before final passage. This would give members more time to review and debate the bill before it is voted on.
