What A 2537 does, verified January 8, 2026

The proposed law requires internet websites and mobile applications to disclose fees to consumers before they use these services to acquire loans with terms of less than one month. The disclosure must clearly state that a fee is imposed, the amount of the fee, and that the consumer can cancel the transaction without being charged a fee. Additionally, the law aims to restrict any deceptive practices related to these fees and ensure that consumers are not misled about the terms and conditions of the loan. The law will take effect 30 days after it becomes a law.
