EICHENSTEIN -- read once and referred to the Committee on Cities AN ACT to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to prohibiting the issuance of tickets to residential occu- pants for certain violations of the sanitation code The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Subdivisions c and d of section 16-118.1 of the administra- 2 tive code of the city of New York are redesignated subdivisions d and e 3 and a new subdivision c is added to read as follows: 4 c. Notwithstanding the provisions of subdivision a of this section, 5 during the hours of 3:00 p.m. on Friday through 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, the 6 department shall not issue a notice of violation, appearance ticket or 7 summons to any owner, lessee, tenant or occupant of a residential prop- 8 erty, nor to a person in charge of such premises, for a violation 9 resulting from placing trash or garbage out for collection earlier than 10 allowed under the city routing system designated hours. 11 § 2.
