A 3052: Prohibits animal insurance policies from limiting or excluding pre-existing conditions.
The proposed law aims to protect animals from pre-existing conditions in their insurance policies. The law would prohibit insurance companies from excluding or limiting coverage for pre-existing conditions of animals. This means that animals with pre-existing conditions would be covered under their insurance policies without any additional costs or restrictions. The law would take effect immediately, but it would only apply to new insurance contracts issued or renewed after the effective date. Existing insurance contracts would be covered at the next policy period, starting from the effective date.
