What A 3345 does, verified January 8, 2026
The bill aims to prohibit employers from asking prospective employees about their graduation dates as a condition for employment or during an interview. This practice is considered discriminatory and unfair, as it can affect individuals who are currently pursuing higher education or have not yet completed their education. The bill seeks to protect job applicants from this type of inquiry, ensuring that they are evaluated based on their qualifications and skills rather than their educational background.
