What A 3754 does, verified June 17, 2025

The state of New York is considering a law that requires events held by the state or on state property to include alcoholic beverages produced within the state. The law aims to promote the sale of New York-made alcoholic products by requiring state agencies, the legislature, and the judiciary to include a procurement for these products in their event budgets. This change will encourage the use of local and state-produced alcohol in events held on state property. The new law will take effect one year after it becomes a law.
