The court can order various relief, including enjoining the employer's conduct, paying costs and attorneys' fees, rehiring or reinstating the employee, and awarding lost compensation and damages. The statute of limitations is tolled from the date the employee files a complaint or the commissioner starts an investigation, whichever is earlier.
