The city of New York is authorized to transfer and convey certain property to the Bedford-Stuyvesant Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Inc. at no cost. The property, located at 727 Greene Avenue in Brooklyn, has been owned and leased continuously by the corps since 1989. This transfer is intended to enable the corps to establish a permanent facility to provide emergency medical care and services to the Bedford-Stuyvesant community. The land is subject to use restrictions, requiring it to be primarily used for operating and maintaining a volunteer ambulance service, as well as related services. In the event the premises are not used for these purposes, ownership of the land reverts to the city of New York. The transfer and conveyance take effect immediately.
