The proposed law aims to amend the civil rights law to include sporting events within the definition of places of public entertainment and amusement. It prohibits refusing admission to or ejecting people over 21 years old who present a valid ticket before the performance starts. However, the law allows for the refusal of admission to or ejection of individuals whose behavior is abusive, offensive, or disruptive, or those engaged in activities that may lead to a breach of the peace. The law applies to legitimate theaters, burlesque theaters, music halls, opera houses, concert halls, sporting events, and circuses.
