The program will provide funding to public schools serving grades kindergarten through twelve that are eligible for Title I support. The grants will be awarded to schools with significant percentages of students who reside in emergency housing or experience frequent absenteeism due to a lack of clean clothing. The program will have a competitive application process, with preference given to schools meeting the specified criteria.
