What A 7000 does, verified January 9, 2026

The proposed law aims to expand the definition of limited-use motorcycles to include a new class. A limited-use motorcycle is defined as a vehicle with four or three wheels and a maximum performance speed of more than thirty miles per hour but not more than forty miles per hour (class A), twenty miles per hour but not more than thirty miles per hour (class B), or less than twenty miles per hour (class C). The new class will be a limited-use motorcycle with electric assist, as defined in a related section of the law. This expansion will provide more options for environmentally friendly and low-speed transportation.
