LEMONDES -- read once and referred to the Commit- tee on Ways and Means AN ACT to amend chapter 308 of the laws of 2023, amending the tax law relating to authorizing an occupancy tax in the village of Weedsport, in relation to extending the effectiveness thereof The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 308 of the laws of 2023, amending the 2 tax law relating to authorizing an occupancy tax in the village of 3 Weedsport, is amended to read as follows: 4 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall expire December 5 31, [2025] 2027 when upon such date the provisions of this act shall be 6 deemed repealed. 7 § 2.
