A 790: Directs the office of cannabis management to establish an illegal cannabis retailer directory.
The proposed law aims to create a directory of closed cannabis retailers in the state of New York. The directory will contain information about each business, including its name and address, the name of the business owner, the building owner, the date of permanent or temporary closure, and the most recent action taken against the business. The directory will be updated weekly and will be based on information from the office and local authorities. The directory will include a list of penalties or violations issued to each business. The law requires the office to work with agencies and police departments to ensure the accuracy of the information in the directory. The directory will be available once the law takes effect, which is 30 days after the law becomes a law.
