What A 802 does, verified January 8, 2026

The proposed legislation aims to provide a four-year moratorium on voluntary dissolution voting for companies subject to the Private Housing Finance Law. This moratorium would be implemented in the event of a failed voluntary dissolution vote. Municipalities can enact local laws or regulations that are not less restrictive than those provided in the subdivision. The provisions of this subdivision do not diminish the requirements of any other applicable laws. The act will take effect on the 90th day after it becomes a law.
