The bill aims to amend the education law to provide funding for teacher resource and computer training centers. Funds provided to school districts and cooperative educational services can plan, establish, and operate these centers, with a maximum of two million dollars per center, except for the city school district of New York, which is not limited. Each approved center must receive at least twenty thousand dollars per year. In years with a statewide increase in funding, the increase will be distributed proportionately among existing centers that meet the requirements, with a portion available for new applicants and current centers to develop regional and statewide activities.
