STATE OF NEW YORK ________________________________________________________________________ 8198 2025-2026 Regular Sessions IN ASSEMBLY May 5, 2025 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. WOERNER -- read once and referred to the Commit- tee on Economic Development AN ACT permitting the city of Saratoga Springs to adopt a resolution requesting further restriction of hours of sale of alcoholic beverages within such city The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of subdivision 11 of section 2 17 of the alcoholic beverage control law or any other provision of law 3 to the contrary, the legislative body of the city of Saratoga Springs, 4 may adopt a resolution requesting further restriction of hours of sale 5 of alcoholic beverages within such city, and upon notice and hearing 6 within such city, the authority shall approve or disapprove such hours 7 within such city. 8 § 2. The city of Saratoga Springs must adopt such resolution within 9 twelve months after the effective date of this act. 10 § 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
