What A 877 does, verified January 29, 2025
The proposed law aims to improve care for older adults in New York by requiring an annual report on primary caregivers. The report will include information on the number of individuals providing care, their average age, the cost of care to them, and the economic value and savings to the state of their services. This will help policymakers better understand the needs and challenges of primary caregivers and potentially develop targeted support systems to aid them.
