STATE OF NEW YORK ________________________________________________________________________ 8798 2025-2026 Regular Sessions IN ASSEMBLY June 5, 2025 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. WOERNER -- read once and referred to the Commit- tee on Transportation AN ACT to amend the highway law, in relation to dedicating a portion of the state highway system to Assembly Member Bobby D'Andrea The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. The highway law is amended by adding a new section 344-r to 2 read as follows: 3 § 344-r. Portion of the state highway system to be dedicated to Assem- 4 bly Member Bobby D'Andrea. All that portion of the state highway system 5 constituting bridge number 1007069, located on Union Avenue, state route 6 9P, crossing interstate 87 in the city of Saratoga Springs, county of 7 Saratoga, shall be dedicated to Assembly Member Bobby D'Andrea. 8 § 2. The commissioner of transportation shall provide for the instal- 9 lation and maintenance of adequate signing of the state highway system 10 as dedicated pursuant to section one of this act, provided that such 11 signing shall state "Bridge Dedicated to Assembly Member Bobby 12 D'Andrea". However, to avoid confusion and to limit any possible 13 disruption of commerce, the dedication called for pursuant to section 14 one of this act shall be one of ceremonial nature and the official name 15 of such bridge shall not be changed as a result of this act. 16 § 3.
