A 9223: Requires reporting on merit determinations relating to unfair labor practices to the department of labor and a certificate of compliance to be eligible for state economic incentives.
The proposed legislation requires employers applying for or receiving state economic incentives to provide a certificate of compliance as part of their application. This certificate is deemed sufficient for the employer to be eligible for the incentives. Additionally, the employer must file an annual report with the department detailing any merit determinations related to unfair labor practices and the outcome of such determinations. The report must be submitted to the department by the employer after a review of the materials submitted by the department. The certificate of compliance is effective immediately, and the department will review the materials submitted by the employer within a specified timeframe.
