STATE OF NEW YORK ________________________________________________________________________ 9278 2025-2026 Regular Sessions IN ASSEMBLY November 21, 2025 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. SHRESTHA -- read once and referred to the Commit- tee on Real Property Taxation AN ACT to amend the real property tax law, in relation to including all lands in Ulster county as being subject to taxation The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Subdivision (e) of section 532 of the real property tax 2 law, as amended by section 1 of part WW of chapter 59 of the laws of 3 2021, is amended to read as follows: 4 (e) All lands in the counties of Rockland [and], Sullivan and Ulster 5 and in the towns of Blooming Grove, Chester, Monroe, Warwick, Cornwall, 6 Highlands, Tuxedo and Woodbury, Orange county, [and in the towns of7Gardiner, Rochester, Shawangunk and Wawarsing, Ulster county,] acquired 8 for a public use by the commissioners of the Palisades Interstate park, 9 exclusive of the improvements erected thereon by the state; 10 § 2.
