 Senate Resolution No. 367 BY: Senator PARKER COMMEMORATING the 130th Grand Session of the Eureka Grand Chapter, Prince Hall Order Eastern Star, State of New York WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and commend those esteemed organizations which have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to community service, charitable giving, and the upliftment of individuals through faith, education, and fellowship; and WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commemorate the 130th Grand Session of the Eureka Grand Chapter, Prince Hall Order Eastern Star, State of New York, to be held June 1-3, 2025, and to honor its esteemed leadership, Sis. Marsha L. Mack, Grand Worthy Matron, and Bro. Grant M. Valentine, Grand Worthy Patron; and WHEREAS, Since its founding, Eureka Grand Chapter has remained a pillar of strength and guidance within the Prince Hall Masonic Family, promoting the principles of "Charity, Truth, and Loving Kindness" while fostering brotherhood, sisterhood, and service throughout New York State; and WHEREAS, The Grand Session serves as a time of reflection, renewal, and rededication to the mission of the Order of the Eastern Star, bringing together members to engage in fellowship, strategic planning, and discussions on furthering the organization's legacy of service; and WHEREAS, Under the distinguished leadership of Sis. Marsha L. Mack, Grand Worthy Matron, and Bro. Grant M. Valentine, Grand Worthy Patron, Eureka Grand Chapter continues to uphold the tenets of faith, leadership, and service, expanding its impact and strengthening its commitment to philanthropy, education, and community outreach; and WHEREAS, Through scholarship programs, charitable initiatives, and mentorship, Eureka Grand Chapter empowers individuals and communities, ensuring that its mission of service and enlightenment remains steadfast; and WHEREAS, The 130th Grand Session, marking more than a century of service and dedication, is a historic milestone in the organization's long and distinguished history, celebrating its legacy of leadership, faith, and commitment to the betterment of society; and WHEREAS, It is fitting and proper that this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to acknowledge the significance of this event and to recognize the profound contributions of Eureka Grand Chapter, Prince Hall Order Eastern Star, State of New York, and its esteemed leaders in advancing education, charity, and community service; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to commemorate the 130th Grand Session of the Eureka Grand Chapter, Prince Hall Order Eastern Star, State of New York, and to extend sincere appreciation to Sis. Marsha L. Mack, Grand Worthy Matron, Bro. Grant M. Valentine, Grand Worthy Patron, and all members for their enduring commitment to service, excellence, and empowerment; and be it further RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be transmitted to Sis. Marsha L. Mack, Grand Worthy Matron, Bro. Grant M. Valentine, Grand Worthy Patron, and the Eureka Grand Chapter, Prince Hall Order Eastern Star, State of New York.
