The town of Amboy, New York, is being recognized for its 195th anniversary. The town was organized on March 25, 1830, after separating from Williamstown. The first settler, Joseph Perkins, arrived in 1805 from Connecticut. The town continues to provide a quality of life for its residents and is expected to remain a beautiful place to live and raise a family. The state is paying tribute to the town's rich history and enduring contribution to New York.
