What K 265 does, verified September 28, 2025
The proposed resolution aims to raise awareness about neuroendocrine (net) cancers and genetic neuroendocrine tumors. Neuroendocrine cells produce hormones to ensure proper bodily functions, but when they change shape and grow abnormally, neuroendocrine cancers occur. The resolution seeks to promote timely diagnosis, premium treatment, support, and a cure for patients with net cancer. It aims to increase awareness of this serious health issue and encourage local, state, and national efforts to address the issue. The resolution also aims to honor the efforts of Governor Kathy Hochul by proclaiming November 10, 2025, as Net Cancer Day in the state.
