OBERACKER -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Codes AN ACT to amend the criminal procedure law, in relation to providing that all court clerks of the unified court system shall be designated as peace officers The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Paragraph b of subdivision 21 of section 2.10 of the crimi- 2 nal procedure law, as added by chapter 843 of the laws of 1980, is 3 amended to read as follows: 4 b. Court clerks of the unified court system [in the first and second 5 departments]. 6 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
