  STATE OF NEW YORK ________________________________________________________________________ 1621 2025-2026 Regular Sessions  IN SENATE January 13, 2025 ___________ Introduced by Sen. STAVISKY -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Transportation AN ACT to amend the vehicle and traffic law, in relation to providing an exemption to the prohibition on tinted windows in automobiles for emergency ambulance service vehicles The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Subdivision 12-a of section 375 of the vehicle and traffic 2 law is amended by adding a new paragraph (g) to read as follows: 3 (g) All emergency ambulance service vehicles, as defined in section 4 one hundred fifteen-c of this chapter, shall be exempt from the 5 provisions of paragraph (b) of this subdivision. 6 § 2.
