S 1765: Requires the cannabis control board to provide notice to state legislative representatives upon receipt of application for an adult-use cannabis retail dispensary or on-site consumption license in their district.
The bill aims to provide written notice to elected officials upon receipt of certain cannabis-related applications. When an application for an adult-use retail dispensary license or an adult-use on-site consumption license is submitted, the board must notify the members of the state assembly and senate who represent the district where the proposed dispensary or establishment is located. This notice must be provided within thirty days of receiving the completed application. The bill takes effect immediately, but the board will also provide notice for pending applications as of the effective date.
