S 2650: Requires the filing and posting of required ancillary agreements on school district and charter school websites.
The proposed law aims to increase transparency in school districts and charter schools by requiring them to post and keep a record of certain agreements on their websites. These agreements are those that are signed by students, parents, or guardians as a condition of attending a school. The law requires school districts and charter schools to post a copy of these agreements on their websites in a timely manner, and to keep a physical copy on file. This increased transparency is intended to help parents and students make informed decisions about their educational options.
