What S 3115 does, verified January 8, 2026

The proposed law aims to exempt certain airport improvements from taxation. The exempted areas include the landing surfaces, air navigation and communications facilities, and passenger terminal buildings available for public use without charge. However, exemptions do not apply to land areas used for crop production or other income-generating activities. The law takes effect on January 1, succeeding the date it becomes a law.
