STATE OF NEW YORK ________________________________________________________________________ 3130 2025-2026 Regular Sessions IN SENATE January 23, 2025 ___________ Introduced by Sen. HELMING -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Health AN ACT to amend the public health law, in relation to authorizing public access defibrillation providers to possess and carry such automated external defibrillators in personal motor vehicles The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Subdivision 3 of section 3000-b of the public health law is 2 amended by adding a new paragraph (g) to read as follows: 3 (g) The public access defibrillation provider is authorized to possess 4 and carry such automated external defibrillators in personal motor vehi- 5 cles. 6 § 2.
