The bill aims to increase transparency in city contracts by requiring limited liability companies to disclose the names and addresses of individuals with limited liability for contractual obligations and other liabilities. This disclosure must be made in writing before a city agency can contract with the company. The goal is to provide a clearer understanding of who is ultimately responsible for the company's debts and obligations. The law will take effect after 90 days of its passage.
