What S 6876 does, verified January 8, 2026
The bill proposes to amend the Vehicle and Traffic Law to impose a fine on the owner of a semitrailer or trailer parked or unattended on a city street with a population of one million or more. The fine is set at $1,000. However, if the semitrailer or trailer is connected to a state-sanctioned film or television production, the owner will not be subject to this fine.
