The state of New York is introducing a pilot program to evaluate the use of the internet for delivering a required pre-licensing course for drivers. This program will allow qualified applicants to participate from June 30, 2025, to June 30, 2030. The program aims to assess the effectiveness of online pre-licensing courses in preparing new drivers for the road.
